Vidya Bharti Tamilnadu, has started the “Kalvi Panbaatu Maiyam” (Samskar Kendra) program with the following objectives.

To transform the life of students community who are living in social stigma of economically under-privileged, socially deprived, communcally revenged and marginalized segments
Making them to shape up their academic studies, behavioural patterns, personal life style with required level of social and life skills, to learn and excel in it thru Vidya Bharti's systematic methodology called "Samskar Kendra - Kalvi Dhana Maiyam".
A unique method with a blend of teaching academic, life skills, spiritual and cultural domains of our ancient and conventional wisdom on every day basis at designated places

The Special Program:

The Samskar Kendra program has reached to the extent of 300 centres across the North Tamilnadu Region till this April 2023.

As part of the continuous improvements of the centre’s activities on day to day basis, each centre has identified a “Five Member Team” (Tolly), which consists of parents of the students of the centre, people from local areas where the centre is located and peoples with service minded.

All the centres have successfully identified the Tolly as planned for the effective functioning of the centres on daily basis. Considering the demand for such a centres in the surrounding areas where it is currently running, our state team had decided to conduct a program / event to make all the teachers and tolly members to participate to share the their experience, suggest best ideas, plan for further expansion of new centres and effective functions of existing centres.

About the Program:

1. The program has been organised on 30th April 2023 at Vivekananda Vidyalaya at Ambattur, Chennai – 600053 by the State body of Vidya Bharti Tamilnadu.

2. The program was inaugurated by Sri. Swami Brahmma Yogananda Ji, Yoga Shanthi Gurukulam.

3. Sri.Sadagopa Ramanuja Dasan Ji from Udayavar Kottai, Gummidipoondi, Tiruvallur District, Tamilnadu has presided over the function.

4. Teachers and Tolly members were met for 45 minutes and shared their experience and the positive impacts the centre has created in the minds of students, family and society.

5. Also, discussed the potential areas where the new centres can be started during the coming education year 2023-24.

6. The function witnessed the overall count of 910 people which consist of Teachers, 5 member team members (Tolly) and supporters from the society.

7. Teachers from Gummidipoondi samskar Kendras have organised a stall using which the home made both and washing soaps have been exhibited for sale, which has created a positive impacts on the minds of participants.

8. Most of the centres have taken part of show casing their students talents which have been identified through various activities / events conducted at centers during the year, through proper artefacts / proper exhibits at the event hall.

9. As part of this program Sri.Nagarajan Ji from “Kalvi Sakthi” moment, has addressed the method of how the digital based rural remote education is being done by them, and their potential support Vidya Bharti centres in the near future.
