Objectives

Vidya Bharti Tamilnadu, has started the “Kalvi Panbaatu Maiyam” (Samskar Kendra) program with the following objectives.
  • To transform the life of students community who are living in social stigma of economically under-privileged, socially deprived, communcally revenged and marginalized segments
  • Making them to shape up their academic studies, behavioural patterns, personal life style with required level of social and life skills, to learn and excel in it thru Vidya Bharti's systematic methodology called "Samskar Kendra - Kalvi Dhana Maiyam".
  • A unique method with a blend of teaching academic, life skills, spiritual and cultural domains of our ancient and conventional wisdom on every day basis at designated places

Education with Bharat culture

Kalvi Panbaattu Maiyam is the education center that promotes education and culture together. Education without culture is useless. Lacs and lacs of children do not get access to good education and teachers. We help every such child, free of cost.

Every center functions from evening 5pm to 730pm. There will be one or more tutors at every center. We primarily cater to children from 1st grade to 8th grade.

Apart from refular school subjects, yoga, bhajans, history and games are taught to children. This is aimed at providing holistic development of the kid.

Where are we now?

As on March 2023, we have 293 functioning kendras, catering to 4280 children,
in North Tamil Nadu alone.

What's Next?

Expansion of Centers

  • Count of 500+ at the end of 2023 at Tamilnadu
  • Engaging Vidhyabharti affiliated / Vivekananda Schools to patronage the project “Kalvi Panbaattu Maiyam”
  • ‘Kalvi Panbaattu Maiyam’ should be one of the ‘Seva’, which is  to be included in ‘Annual Planning’ at Sangh @ nagar level.

Expectations from Schools

  • Each affiliated / Vivekananda Schools should start minimum of 5 centers at the surrounding regions.
  • Teachers involvement in the center operations.
  • Each center should have 5 member volunteer team to support this seva.
  • More engagement of people from society in this seva.
